Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and hard-working. Leadership & Staffing Lead the team during daily operations and set the standard for professionalism and work ethic. Create and manage the employee schedule based on projected business needs. Ensure shifts are adequately staffed and address call-outs or coverage issues. Monitor attendance, punctuality, dress code, and employee performance. Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to existing staff. Address performance or behavioral issues promptly and document them when appropriate. Delegate responsibilities to shift leaders and team members. Maintain a positive, respectful, team-oriented work environment. Store Operations Ensure the store opens and closes correctly and on time. Oversee daily opening, closing, prep, cleaning, and operational checklists. Make sure all equipment, POS systems, online ordering, delivery platforms, and loyalty systems are functioning properly. Troubleshoot operational problems and escalate issues to the owners when necessary. Ensure cash-handling and register procedures are followed. Monitor product availability and prevent unnecessary outages. Communicate important operational information between shifts and with ownership. Maintain compliance with local and New York State health-code requirements. Keep the store inspection-ready at all times. Inventory & Cost Control Monitor inventory and place/coordinate orders as assigned. Maintain appropriate levels of fruit, bases, toppings, packaging, cleaning supplies, and other products. Reduce waste through proper portioning, rotation, prep, and ordering. Identify unusual waste, inventory shortages, or product discrepancies. Help control labor costs by scheduling appropriately and managing employees efficiently during slower periods. Customer Service Ensure customers receive friendly, accurate, and efficient service. Address customer complaints professionally and resolve reasonable issues at the store level. Follow up when orders are incorrect or customers have a poor experience. Monitor online, delivery, and loyalty-related customer issues and communicate recurring problems to ownership. Build relationships with regular customers and help create an environment that encourages repeat business. Cleanliness & Store Appearance Maintain high standards for the dining area, service line, kitchen/prep areas, restrooms, storage areas, and exterior. Ensure cleaning responsibilities are completed throughout every shift—not just at closing. Make sure employees understand that everyone is responsible for cleanliness. Identify maintenance or equipment problems and report them promptly. Communication & Accountability Serve as the primary day-to-day leader for employees. Communicate clearly with the owners about staffing concerns, customer issues, equipment problems, inventory shortages, and other significant matters.
