Job Description
Adecco is assisting a local client recruiting for Line Shop Analyst III opportunities in Cleveland, Toledo or Akron OH . Responsibilities for Line Shop Analyst III include but are not limited to:
- Conduct targeted reviews of shops and service centers with lower capitalization rates to identify process gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Partner with Operations, Business Services, and Accounting Policy teams to evaluate capitalization practices and provide guidance during field reviews.
- Analyze and streamline reporting tools, dashboards, and performance metrics to improve supervisor oversight of time charging and capitalization performance.
- Develop and maintain accounting policy guidance, playbooks, and job aids that translate complex accounting requirements into practical operational guidance.
- Support and deliver training for supervisors, shop personnel, and Business Services teams to improve consistency and compliance.
- Collaborate with Accounting Policy and Engineering teams to review design standards and ensure projects align with approved requirements and capitalization expectations.
- Evaluate time charging tools and processes, including PowerOn follow-up activities, and recommend improvements.
- Document findings, provide recommendations, and support implementation of process improvements across operating areas. Candidates for Line Shop Analyst III must meet the following requirements to be considered:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of capitalization principles, accounting policies, and time charging processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, inconsistencies, and process improvement opportunities.
- Experience working with reports, dashboards, and operational performance metrics.
- Ability to translate complex accounting concepts into clear and actionable operational guidance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including training and presentation experience.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Operations, Engineering, Accounting Policy, and Business Services teams.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and business reporting tools.
