Responsibilities Lead and supervise the daily operations of the fitness studio, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff members, providing comprehensive employee orientation and ongoing training & development Manage scheduling, shift management, and payroll processing to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency Oversee inventory management of fitness equipment, retail products, and supplies; handle purchasing and merchandising activities Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing member inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere Implement sales strategies to promote retail sales, memberships, and special programs; monitor sales management metrics Ensure compliance with safety protocols, manage cash handling procedures, POS systems, and bookkeeping tasks accurately Skills Strong management skills with proven experience in supervising teams within retail or fitness environments Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and engage customers effectively Proficiency in POS systems, inventory control, purchasing, and retail math including pricing strategies Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training & development, and employee orientation Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse client bases Knowledge of operational management including budgeting, merchandising, stock management, and store management practices Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in cash handling, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and inventory management Leadership qualities with experience in shift management, customer service excellence, and retail industry sales team management Join us as a Fitness Studio Manager where your energy fuels success!
