The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional care to our residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being in a warm and supportive environment.
Position:
Part-time Nurse Supervisor (Day Shift)
Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and oversee nursing services, policies, and procedures in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead and manage the facility's wound care program, including comprehensive assessments, treatment planning, documentation, and ongoing monitoring of residents with wounds. Evaluate the effectiveness of wound care interventions and adjust treatment plans as needed to promote healing and prevent complications. Conduct routine nursing rounds throughout the facility, including at the beginning and end of each shift. Ensure residents receive safe, high-quality care while protecting their rights, dignity, and well-being. Promote an environment free from abuse, neglect, and mistreatment. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care. Participate in care planning meetings, quality improvement initiatives, policy development, and administrative decision-making. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Education and/or
Experience:
Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Minimum of 3+ years of relevant clinical experience. Working knowledge of state survey regulations, Medicare, and Medicaid requirements. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems. Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) is an advantage.
