We're looking for an experienced Shop Manager to lead a growing fleet maintenance operation in Genoa, OH . This is a full-time opportunity for a hands-on leader who can oversee day-to-day shop operations while supporting a team of technicians, maintaining a diverse fleet of heavy-duty trucks and construction equipment, and ensuring repairs are completed safely and efficiently. What You'll Do Oversee daily shop operations, workflow, scheduling, and repair priorities. Lead, support, and coordinate a team of diesel technicians. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy-duty diesel trucks and fleet equipment. Ensure DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and major repairs are completed properly and on schedule. Assist technicians with complex diagnostics and repairs involving engines, electrical systems, air brakes, suspension, and drivability. Oversee repairs and maintenance on dump trucks and other heavy equipment. Monitor parts, tools, work orders, and repair documentation. Communicate with management regarding equipment status, shop needs, and outstanding repairs. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized shop environment. Help train and develop technicians while maintaining high standards for quality workmanship and safety. What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years of diesel mechanic experience , with previous shop leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Experience with heavy-duty trucks, fleet equipment, and general truck repairs. Experience performing or overseeing DOT inspections and preventive maintenance. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to prioritize multiple repairs and keep shop operations running efficiently. Hands-on leadership approach with the ability to work alongside technicians when needed. Own a complete set of tools. Valid driver's license. Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to safety and quality workmanship. Compensation & Benefits Pays up to $50/hour Overtime available. Annual merit-based wage increases.
