Overview We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Store Manager leading the staff of our gas station, convenience store, and highly rated restaurant. In this vital role, you will oversee daily store operations, drive sales growth, and ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities Lead and manage all store operations, including sales, customer service, inventory control, and staff supervision. Recruit, interview, hire, and onboard new team members to build a high-performing retail sales team. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed store targets while maintaining excellent customer service standards. Oversee inventory management, purchasing, pricing, merchandising, stocking, and stock rotation to optimize product availability. Manage payroll processing, cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and bookkeeping tasks with accuracy and integrity. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills in retail math, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Monitor store performance through regular reporting and analysis; adjust strategies accordingly to improve efficiency and profitability. Ensure compliance with safety policies, store policies, and legal regulations; handle customer complaints professionally and promptly. Requirements Proven management experience in retail and merchandising. Food service experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a positive team environment. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting. Experience with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping principles. Demonstrated ability in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development. Familiarity with retail math including pricing strategies, budgeting, sales management, and cash handling procedures.
