Assistant Store Manager | Whit's Frozen Custard Pataskala We're a locally owned frozen custard shop known for our high-quality products which are made fresh every day in our store. We take pride in offering a fun, fast paced workplace while delivering a great customer experience. We are looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help us run our day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will run shifts independently and help coach our staff.

Note:

this is not an entry-level position and is not intended for first-time job seekers or high school students. This position will average 28-38 hours per week, depending on your availability. While there is some schedule flexibility, regular daytime, evening and weekend availability will be needed. What You'll Do Run the store independently during your shifts Coach staff on customer service, product quality and accuracy Bake cookies, decorate cakes, make novelity items Train new hires and reinforce expectations with staff Keep the store clean, stocked and organized Assist with scheduling and ordering

What We're Looking For:

At least 1 year of leadership experience in restaurant, retail or food service Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while making decisions independently Able to supervise high school/teen employees Strong attention to detail — especially with food presentation and cleanliness Able to work days, evenings and weekends Able to stand for 8 hours and lift 25+ lbs Must be 18+ and a high school graduate Someone looking for a longer-term role, this is not a temp or seasonal position Why People Like Working at
