A Retail Associate Manager assists the manager at a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Supervises sales associates and retail store operations. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. May prepare work schedules and hire, train and evaluate sales associates. May supervise warehouse, cleaning, maintenance or security staff. Assists with resolving customer complaints.

Job Description

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in all aspects of daily store operations. This role helps create an exceptional customer experience, drives sales, develops associates, and ensures the store is clean, organized and fully stocked. The Assistant Manager leads by example and serves as the manager on duty when the Store Manager is absent.
