Job Description
Job Overview As a Ridi Store Manager, you will oversee all daily operations, focusing on staff leadership (hiring, training, scheduling), inventory control (fuel & store items), customer service (handling complaints, ensuring satisfaction), financial management (sales and cash management), and strict adherence to safety/environmental laws to ensure smooth, profitable, and compliant station functioning, often balancing shifts with employee support. Responsibilities The Store Manager accounts for cash and credit cards, completes daily reporting procedures, controls fuel and store inventory, and balances the daily sales for the site This position is also responsible for employee relations by motivating, developing, and retaining a reliable team and for working closely with merchandise vendors Candidate will be supportive of the company programs and policies and projects that support to co-workers and direct reports Accurately accounts for site funds Prepare work schedule within payroll budget Resolve shift coverage problems Investigates and resolves all errors/shortages/loss issues Lottery Reports (Lottery audit done weekly on Monday) Incident Reporting Operates register and other point of sale equipment regularly Resolves conflict Motivate others and leads by example Vendor check in and stocking Retail experience preferably in the petroleum, convenience store or fast food industries Perform light maintenance duties such as cleaning windows, mopping floors, painting, cleaning the lot, cleaning restroom facilities Aid and assist customers at fuel island- Including performing full service duties for disabled customers at the fuel island Operate all store equipment including cash register, adding machine, telephone, coffee dispenser, fountain machine Qualifications High School diploma Ability to lift and carry cases of merchandise such as motor oil, soft drinks, beer, bags of ice, and groceries (Up to an approximate weight of 25 pounds). Ability to frequently bend, stoop and reach Ability to climb a ladder or step up to reach supplies in overhead area. Use arms above head/shoulder level. Ability and willingness to stand for long periods of time Leads by example Positive attitude Goal oriented Excellent communication skills Viewed as trustworthy and dependable by peers and subordinates Must have the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers Ability to work alone and capable of summoning personal assistance
