Role Overview:

The Assistant Store Manager supports store operations with a customer-first focus, assisting with employee supervision, merchandise management, and financial tasks. They help maintain a clean, organized store, provide excellent customer service, and assist in opening and closing the store.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and train employees, ensuring compliance with policies and safety protocols. Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, rotating, and displays following planograms. Maintain accurate inventory levels, control damages, and handle markdowns. Ensure financial integrity through cashier accountability, cash handling, and deposit procedures. Assist in store management during the Store Manager's absence and support daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills:

Effective communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to interpret documents, perform mathematical calculations, and operate cash registers. Knowledge of cash, safety, and facility control policies. High school diploma or equivalent; retail and supervisory experience preferred.

Working Conditions:

Frequent standing, bending, lifting up to 55 pounds, operating equipment, and occasional outdoor or driving activities in a fast-paced environment.
