Job Description
Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Storekeeper to join our clients dynamic team in the oil and gas industry. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring the efficient flow of goods, and maintaining accurate records within our supply chain operations. This role is crucial for supporting logistics and dispatching functions, contributing to the overall success of the organization. Responsibilities Manage inventory levels and ensure stock accuracy through regular audits and data collection. Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for sourcing materials and supplies necessary for operations. Oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods within the warehouse. Maintain organized storage areas to facilitate easy access to products. Assist in production planning by monitoring stock levels and forecasting needs based on demand. Conduct root cause analysis to identify discrepancies in inventory and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with logistics teams to optimize dispatching processes and improve supply chain efficiency. Prepare reports on inventory status, including usage trends and potential shortages. Experience At least one year relevent warehouse experience required. Knowledge of logistics principles, including dispatching and supply chain management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to perform data collection and analysis effectively. Experience in production planning or sourcing will be advantageous. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all tasks. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple priorities efficiently.
