Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail operations and ensure the seamless functioning of our store. The ideal candidate will oversee daily store activities, manage staff, and drive sales growth while maintaining exceptional customer service standards. As a Store Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a positive shopping environment, optimizing inventory control, and implementing effective merchandising strategies to meet business objectives. Duties Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating performance to foster a motivated and efficient team. Oversee daily store operations such as cash handling, cashiering, and POS (Point of Sale) system management to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Manage inventory levels through stock replenishment, inventory control, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Implement sales strategies, pricing policies, and marketing initiatives to enhance store visibility and profitability. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, maintaining phone etiquette, and resolving complaints professionally. Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare reports to inform management decisions on budgeting and sales management. Conduct employee orientation sessions, training & development programs, and supervise shift management to maintain high operational standards. Handle administrative tasks including bookkeeping, payroll processing and maintaining organized records for audit readiness. Uphold store policies related to health & safety regulations, cleanliness standards, and compliance requirements. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles with demonstrated leadership capabilities. Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and team management. Proficiency in inventory management systems, POS technology, retail math and cash handling procedures. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in stock control and merchandising activities. Ability to manage time efficiently across shift management duties while maintaining high customer service standards. Strong leadership qualities combined with excellent interpersonal skills suitable for diverse teams.
