Retail Store Manager Bedford Ace We're looking for a motivated, customer-focused Retail Store Manager to lead our team and help drive the success of our growing business. If you're an experienced leader who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and creating a positive work environment, we'd love to hear from you. This is a hands-on leadership position . We're looking for someone who leads by example, isn't afraid to jump in wherever needed, and enjoys working alongside their team. Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and develop a team of employees. Deliver outstanding customer service and create an exceptional shopping experience. Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team members. Schedule employees and manage daily store operations. Maintain inventory, merchandising, and store appearance. Monitor sales, expenses, and store performance. Resolve customer concerns professionally and effectively. Ensure company policies and safety procedures are followed. Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment. Manage and maintain the rental dept withing the store Learn and Grow in the Ace recommended ways of operation Qualifications Previous retail management experience is required. Excellent leadership and people skills. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to motivate and develop employees. Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Basic computer skills and experience with retail point-of-sale systems. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds when necessary. Hardware experience or knowledge in plumbing, electrical, paint, and rental items Schedule Must be available to work a flexible schedule , including evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
