Job Description

Position Objectives:
Lead the CAD team to prepare 3D BIM models of precast, post-tension, concrete tanks to deliver accurate drawings and material takeoff information in support of the purchasing, production, and construction teams.
Position Responsibilities:
Lead the CAD team to prepare 3D models, erection and production drawings, and material takeoff reports for precast, post-tensioned concrete tanks. Maintain effective collaboration between CAD and other internal teams to meet the business goals of the Company. Oversee model integration and collaboration between Dutchland and outside engineers and contractors as required. Manage software licenses, system updates, and digital tools to optimize team productivity. Maintain and improve CAD standards. Document and train team members on new developments. Plan, delegate, and track team workloads for efficient project delivery. Mentor and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance. Evaluate, hire, promote and discipline team members, as required. Demonstrated experience managing and leading teams, required. At least five years of CAD experience detailing precast concrete structural products. Experience using Tekla Structures, desired, but not required. Experience modeling structures using 3D software packages, required. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong desire to maintain and develop an efficient work environment.
