Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Overnight Grocery Manager to assist with overseeing the operations of our grocery store during the night shift. This role is essential in ensuring that our store runs smoothly, providing excellent customer service while managing inventory and staff effectively. Duties Supervise and manage overnight staff, ensuring effective team management and communication. Oversee inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. Conduct employee training, and development to enhance team performance. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment. Foster a positive shopping experience for customers by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with upper management on purchasing decisions to optimize product selection. Requirements Proven experience in retail management or grocery store operations is essential. Strong leadership skills with a focus on team management and employee development. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of customer service principles with a commitment to providing exceptional service. Ability to work overnight shifts while maintaining high energy levels throughout the shift.
