We're looking for an experienced
  • Cabinet Shop Manager
  • to lead our Philadelphia location.
The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on experience (10+ years) in cabinet making and/or woodworking, along with a track record of supervising a shop floor, managing production schedules, and holding a team to a high standard of craftsmanship. This is a working leadership role — the Cabinet Shop Manager oversees projects and cabinet makers while staying actively hands-on with building, sourcing, and assembling cabinetry, furniture, and project components. This role involves coordinating across our two locations, with projects primarily getting installed at our Palm Beach, FL outfit. Full-Time. Eligible candidates must have the following requirements:
  • What You'll Do
  • Oversee daily shop operations, including production scheduling, workflow, and staffing assignments
  • Supervise, train, and mentor cabinet makers and shop staff to maintain consistent quality and productivity
  • Actively build, assemble, and finish custom cabinetry, furniture, and project components alongside the shop team
  • Source materials, hardware, and supplies, working directly with vendors to secure quality and pricing
  • Review shop drawings, elevations, and cut lists to ensure jobs are built to spec before production begins
  • Coordinate with project managers, designers, and the installation team to keep projects on schedule
  • Coordinate production timing and logistics between the Philadelphia and Palm Beach locations, ensuring finished work ships out for installation on schedule
  • Manage material and hardware ordering, inventory levels, and vendor relationships
  • Enforce quality control standards, inspecting work in progress and finished pieces for fit, finish, and accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment, ensuring compliance with safety protocols
  • Troubleshoot production issues and proactively communicate solutions to leadership
  • Manage equipment maintenance schedules and oversee proper use/care of shop machinery and tools
  • What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of professional cabinet making/millwork experience, including prior supervisory or shop management experience
  • Strong understanding of cabinet construction, materials, hardware, and production sequencing
  • Ability to read and interpret shop drawings, elevations, and cut lists with precision
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and hold a team accountable
  • High attention to detail — quality and fit matter
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills to keep production on track
  • Professional communication and reliability
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Ability to lift, move, and safely operate shop equipment and machinery
