Job Summary The Lumberville General Store is a cherished Bucks County landmark known for its historic charm, chef-driven prepared foods, fresh baked pastries, retail offerings, and warm community hospitality. As part of the Thompson Legacy Collection (TLC), the Store upholds the highest standards of quality, consistency, and guest experience thoughout. The Manager of the Lumberville General Store is a hands-on leader responsible for daily operations across both back-of-house culinary production and front-of-house guest service and retail . This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong culinary roots who is ready to step confidently into full-scale operational management. A minimum of 5 years of progressive culinary experience is required, along with a demonstrated competency and genuine desire to lead kitchen operations, guide FOH staff, and uphold TLC's standards of excellence. Duties Culinary & Back-of-House Leadership

• Oversee daily BOH operations including prep, production, quality control, and food safety.
• Maintain consistent culinary standards aligned with TLC recipes, presentation, and brand expectations.
• Collaborate with TLC culinary leadership on menu development, specials, and seasonal offerings.
• Ensure compliance with ServSafe, HACCP, and all regulatory requirements.
• Train and mentor BOH team members, fostering a positive, efficient, and professional kitchen culture. Front-of-House & Retail Management
• Lead FOH staff in delivering warm, attentive, and efficient guest service.
• Oversee retail merchandising, product displays, inventory levels, and store cleanliness.
• Maintain a welcoming environment that reflects the Store's historic charm and community-focused identity.
• Resolve guest concerns with professionalism and care.
• Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and FOH teams. Operational & Business Management
• Manage scheduling, staffing, training, and performance across all departments.
• Oversee inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost controls.
• Maintain accurate cash handling, POS operations, and daily financial reporting.
• Uphold TLC brand standards, SOPs, and service expectations.
• Partner with TLC leadership on strategic initiatives, seasonal programs, and long-term planning.
