THRIFT

STORE MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES

Aid in the overall operation of the Thrift Store.

Duties:

1. Aid in the daily activities in the operations of the Thrift Store such as, ragging out process sorting donations, sorting merchandise, pricing, tagging, etc. 2. Responsible to help maintain store cleanliness. 3. Responsible for maintaining an accurate record of store receipts and monies, daily operation of the cash register and all receipts during manager's absence /day off. 4. Keeping the store stock rotated and put out. 5. Cleaning bric-brac during the processing and pricing process. 6. Responsible in aiding the customers and providing excellent customer service. 7. Should have the ability to open/close the store on a daily basis during the Manager's absence /day off 8. Report to the Manager any customer complaints or volunteer complaints, problems. 9. Special projects as assigned by the Manager. 10. Attend employee meetings. 11. Must be physically able to stand for prolonged periods, lift, and bend. 12. Responsible to aid in the enactment of a pleasant atmosphere within the thrift store that promotes customer relations, and informs the public of the ministries of American Rescue Workers.

QUALIFICATIONS

Should have some experience in retail/sales. Able to follow simple direction. Weekend availability is a must. Organizational and coordinating skills needed. Must be able to work in an extremely high level of productivity with minimum direct supervision. Dress in a professional manner. Must have availability to open and close the store as well as some Saturdays.

• Must be able to pass a background check.

• Must be able to work Opening shifts, Closing shifts and some in between.
