As a Manager, you will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure a welcoming shopping environment. Duties Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management to foster a high-performing team. Oversee daily store operations such as opening and closing procedures, cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety standards. Manage inventory control by monitoring stock levels, conducting stock replenishments, ordering merchandise, and overseeing merchandising strategies to maximize sales. Implement effective sales management techniques by setting sales targets, analyzing sales data, and developing strategies to meet or exceed goals. Coordinate purchasing activities, including vendor negotiations, pricing strategies, and managing supplier relationships to ensure optimal inventory levels. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries promptly, resolving complaints effectively, and creating a welcoming shopping environment. Supervise scheduling shifts, managing payroll and employee orientation programs while maintaining compliance with company policies and labor regulations. Qualifications Proven management experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment with supervisory responsibilities. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a positive work culture. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, merchandising, POS systems, cash handling, and retail math. Experience in recruiting, training & development of staff, as well as supervising employee performance. Knowledge of retail sales techniques including pricing strategies and marketing initiatives. Ability to handle administrative tasks such as bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and store records management efficiently. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
