Nursing Supervisor (RN), part-time Rotating weekends: Saturday & Sunday 8a-8p •Benefit options available with additional shifts•Warren General Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced registered nurse to serve on the nursing administration team! This role will be responsible for providing nursing leadership and operational oversight during shifts. Directs nursing personnel providing patient care; ensures quality care is provided; resolves patient and customer problems. Projects and records staffing levels for each area; adjusts staffing schedules as necessary. Enforces and maintains professional nursing standards, policies and procedures and assures compliance with the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing and all applicable regulatory agencies. Identifies, recommends and initiates planning strategies for improvement of nursing and patient care. Evaluates the performance and competency of employees by monitoring individual work performance Performs nursing care when necessary. Obtains equipment and supplies when needed Qualifications Current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license 3+ years of acute care nursing experience Previous supervisory, leadership, or charge nurse experience preferred Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
