Oversee inventory management activities such as stock ordering, merchandising, stock rotation, and inventory control to maximize sales opportunities. Implement effective sales strategies by analyzing sales data, setting targets, and motivating the team to meet or exceed goals. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries, resolving complaints promptly, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Coordinate purchasing activities and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely product availability and optimal pricing. Oversee payroll processing, bookkeeping tasks, and budget adherence to ensure operational efficiency. Skills Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership and operational oversight. Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills—bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus—to connect with diverse customers and team members. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales calculations. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, purchasing, merchandising, and pricing strategies that drive revenue growth. Experience with employee orientation, training & development programs, interviewing candidates, and supervising staff performance. Knowledge of retail math concepts such as sales analysis, budgeting, stock levels, and profitability metrics. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams through managerial communication and operational management expertise.
