Full-Time Storage Assistant Manager Laurel, MS , Full-Time, $21 per hour Spacebox Management is looking for a dependable, hardworking, self motivated Assistant Manager to help maintain and support multiple storage facilities in the Laurel, Mississippi area. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys being active, working independently, and taking pride in keeping properties clean, maintained, and looking their best. You will travel between Storage facilities in the Laurel area and assist with general maintenance, cleaning, unit inspections, and light marketing efforts. What You'll Do Travel between Storage facilities in the Laurel, MS area Perform general maintenance and minor repairs Keep facility grounds, offices, and common areas clean and presentable Inspect storage units and report maintenance or security concerns Prepare units for new tenants by checking cleanliness and condition Assist with basic property upkeep, including cleaning, sweeping, trash removal, and organization Identify issues that need additional repairs or vendor attention Assist with light marketing efforts Help ensure each property provides a clean, safe, and welcoming experience for our tenants Complete other facility-related tasks as needed What We're Looking For Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between facilities in the Laurel area Experience with general maintenance, property maintenance, cleaning, or similar hands-on work preferred Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks effectively Strong attention to detail Dependable, organized, and self-motivated Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors Ability to lift, carry, and move items as needed Basic knowledge of tools and minor repairs is a plus A positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed Pay & Benefits $21 per hour Full-time position Paid Time Off (PTO) Opportunity to work with a growing self-storage company Variety in your workday with multiple facilities If you are someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining a clean and well-kept property, and likes having a variety of responsibilities throughout the day, we would love to hear from you!
