Sales & Operations Manager Burn Boot Camp Fort Mitchell, Kentucky Bluegrass Fit for Life, LLC | Full-time | Approximately 40 hours per week $20+ per hour, based on experience and qualifications. About the role Lead our team, manage daily gym operations, and help members feel welcome and supported. Reporting to the Franchise Partners, you'll coach staff, grow memberships, and deliver an excellent member experience. Fitness experience is not required; strong people leadership is. What you'll do Hire, train, and lead Burn Ambassadors; coordinate with the Lead Trainer and Childwatch Lead. Set clear expectations, delegate responsibilities, and hold people accountable respectfully. Manage staffing, schedules, timecards, and payroll accuracy. Support safe Childwatch operations. Partner with the Growth Manager to turn trials into memberships. Coach sales conversations, ensure focus meetings are booked, lead renewals and retention, and support retail and nutrition sales. Own the Blue Carpet Experience (BCE), resolve member concerns, oversee billing follow-up, and build community through recognition and events. Keep the gym clean, safe, and stocked. Coordinate inventory, vendors, repairs, and maintenance. Keep records and communications current. Track weekly results, lead the leadership meeting, and address issues early. Success measures Monthly member attrition below 3.5%; trial-to-member conversion of at least 45%; BCE scores of at least 90%; member visit rate of at least 60%. Additional goals include sales targets, team retention, consistent focus meetings, complete records, covered shifts, and accurate payroll. What you bring Team leadership experience in retail, restaurants, hospitality, fitness, or a similar setting. Strong organization, communication, and follow-through; comfort with schedules, budgets, spreadsheets, and basic business software. A welcoming personality, integrity, loyalty, and respect for confidentiality. We do not tolerate gossip or sharing private information; breaches may result in termination. Reliable transportation, schedule flexibility, and willingness to complete a background check. Sales, membership-business experience, and familiarity with Mindbody or LoopSpark are helpful. Schedule Approximately 40 hours weekly, primarily in person, with flexibility and some remote work. Camps run weekdays from early morning through evening and Saturday mornings. Be present across shifts and available for occasional evening or weekend needs. Opening, closing, and 5-6 a.m. camps are not required. Cover unfilled shifts only as a rare last resort.
