Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Service Leader to oversee the service operations at our power equipment dealership, which specializes in selling and servicing Husqvarna, Emark, and Stihl power equipment and TYM compact tractors. The Service Leader will play a key role in ensuring exceptional customer service, managing the service team, and maintaining high standards for equipment repair and maintenance. This position offers an opportunity to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment dedicated to power equipment and compact tractor solutions. Responsibilities Lead and supervise the service department, ensuring efficient and effective repair and maintenance of power equipment and compact tractors. Coordinate daily operations within the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and resource allocation. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, explaining repair procedures, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Train, mentor, and support service technicians to uphold quality standards and improve technical skills. Manage parts inventory related to service repairs to ensure timely completion of work orders. Maintain safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations across all service activities. Collaborate with sales teams to support product knowledge and promote after-sales services. Monitor department performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency. Stay informed about new technologies, tools, and industry best practices relevant to power equipment and compact tractors. Requirements Proven experience in managing or leading a service department within the power equipment or agricultural machinery industry. Strong knowledge of power equipment, compact tractors, and related repair processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team of technicians. Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on building long-term client relationships. Ability to coordinate multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good organizational skills with attention to detail in scheduling, inventory management, and quality control. Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory compliance related to machinery servicing. Effective communication skills for interacting with customers, team members, and management.
