Full-Time About Us Blue Bird Motors is a family-owned business with over 40 years of service in the automotive industry. We are Crossville's one-stop shop for aftermarket truck accessories. We pride ourselves on top-notch customer service and quality craftsmanship. Position Overview We are looking for an experienced, customer-focused Shop Manager / Accessory Installer to run our accessory sales counter and installation bay. In this role, you will be the face and voice of our shop—handling daily customer interactions and vendor purchasing—while also taking the lead in the bay to install Auto & Truck Accessories.

Key ResponsibilitiesShop & Counter Management Customer Service:

Answer phone calls, greet walk-in customers, provide product recommendations, and deliver accurate estimates/quotes.

Parts & Inventory Management:

Order parts from vendors/distributors, verify shipments, track inventory, and maintain vendor relationships.

Scheduling:

Book installation appointments and manage job flow through the bay to ensure timely turnarounds.

Hands-On Installation & Technical Work Car Audio:

Wire and install aftermarket car stereos, door speakers, subwoofers, amplifiers, line output converters (LOCs), backup cameras, and remote starters.

General Truck & Car Accessories:

Install truck bed covers, running boards/steps, grill guards, bumpers, automotive lighting, towing hitches, and interior accessories.

Qualifications & Requirements Customer & Computer Skills:

Strong phone manner, clear communication, and comfortable using point-of-sale or shop management software.

Organization:

Ability to multitask between assisting counter customers, ordering parts, and turning wrenches in the shop.

Tools:

Must possess your own basic hand tools and 12V installation tools (wire strippers, soldering/crimping gear, multimeter, panel removal tools).

Valid Driver's License:

Required with a clean driving record.

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

Competitive pay based on experience.

(Mon-Fri) 7:30 - 5:00 (Sat) 9:00 - 12:00
