Summary As a Retail Store Assistant Manager at Ace Hardware, you will play a vital role in supporting the store manager in daily operations while delivering outstanding customer service. This position is essential to maintaining Ace's reputation as The Helpful Place, fostering a welcoming environment for both customers and staff. Responsibilities Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and staff management. Ensure high standards of customer service are maintained at all times. Support the recruitment, training, and development of retail associates. Manage inventory levels and assist with ordering and merchandising products. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and improve store performance. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and effectively. Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and employee engagement. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or supervisory roles. Strong background in retail sales with a focus on customer satisfaction. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively. Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and inspire team members. Familiarity with inventory management practices is preferred.
