Job Description

Position Summary The Assistant D.U.G Manager supports the Drive Up & Go (D.U.G) Manager in overseeing all online order fulfillment operations. This role ensures accurate, timely picking and staging of orders, delivers excellent customer service, and helps lead the D.U.G team to achieve productivity, accuracy, and service goals. Key Responsibilities Team Support & Leadership Assist in supervising and directing D.U.G associates in daily operations Train, coach, and provide feedback to team members to improve performance Help assign tasks and manage workflow based on order volume and business needs Promote a positive, customer-focused, and team-oriented work environment Order Fulfillment & Accuracy Ensure all online orders are picked accurately, efficiently, and on time Monitor order quality, substitutions, and out-of-stock communication Support staging and organization of completed orders for pickup and delivery Step in to pick orders during high-volume periods Customer Service Provide exceptional service to Drive Up & Go customers at pickup Resolve customer issues quickly, professionally, and effectively Ensure a seamless and positive curbside or in-store pickup experience Operations & Performance Support daily operations to meet productivity, accuracy, and wait time goals Monitor key performance metrics and assist in implementing improvements Help ensure compliance with company standards, food safety practices, and operational procedures Inventory & Communication Communicate out-of-stocks and customer trends to department managers Collaborate with store leadership to ensure product availability Support inventory counts and digital order accuracy initiatives Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous retail or e-commerce fulfillment experience required Leadership or supervisory experience preferred Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly Frequent walking, bending, lifting, and standing Ability to work in various store environments, including cooler/freezer as needed Work Environment Fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
