In this energetic role, you will support the store management team in overseeing daily operations, managing sales teams, and ensuring smooth store functions. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize sales strategies, and uphold high standards of customer service. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop managerial skills while contributing to a vibrant retail environment. Duties Assist the Store Manager in supervising daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures. Lead and motivate retail sales teams to achieve sales goals through effective coaching, training, and performance management. Manage inventory control by overseeing stock levels, conducting audits, and coordinating purchasing to ensure product availability. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an outstanding shopping experience. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates, onboarding new employees, and conducting employee orientation sessions. Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) system transactions, and cashiering activities to maintain accuracy and security. Coordinate merchandising efforts, including product placement, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maximize sales potential. Skills Strong leadership abilities with proven supervisory experience in retail or related industries. Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic bookkeeping practices. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing, and managing vendor relationships to optimize store operations. Demonstrated expertise in retail math, budgeting, sales management, and operational management. Ability to train and develop team members effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Exceptional organizational skills with a focus on time management and multitasking under pressure.
Pay:
$13.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 25.0 - 40.0 per week
