Role:

We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Seasonal Store Manager to lead a temporary holiday Toy Shop. This is a short-term seasonal opportunity where you'll oversee daily store operations, support the seasonal team, and help ensure a welcoming, customer-ready experience throughout the program.

Primary Responsibilities:

Ensure staff reporting for daily opening and closing and confirm the store is customer-ready prior to opening Assign daily zones and breaks across register, "make-and-take" station, sales floor, product replenishment, and cleaning coverage; work alongside the team and flex into priority roles during peak periods as needed Coordinate approved back-stock product replenishment with store associates, ensuring restricted back-of-house areas are accessed only when authorized and accompanied Monitor inventory presentation, shelf conditions, pricing/signage, out-of-stocks, and high-demand items; escalate discrepancies through the approved reporting channel Oversee POS procedures, shift handoffs, transaction or return escalations, and end-of-day reconciliation as defined by the client Hold team accountable to service standards, appropriate customer engagement, activity procedures, safety, and overall expectations; manage attendance, punctuality, coverage, timekeeping, callouts, and performance issues with the staffing agency and the client through the approved reporting channel Ensure completion of required opening/closing checklists, daily photos, sales/traffic reporting, incident reports, and supply/inventory requests; resolve or escalate customer, security, safety, technology, and facility issues

Preferred Experience & Qualifications:

Experience in retail, specialty-store, hospitality, or high-volume customer service experience; prior supervisory experience strongly preferred Experience with POS systems, inventory replenishment, opening/closing, and daily reporting strongly preferred. Confident communicator who can work collaboratively with store associates, client representatives, and customers required Strong judgement, reliability, organization, and comfort resolving issues in a fast-paced Holiday retail environment required
