Job Description
Wet N Jet Car Wash is looking at hiring a Site Manager to run a fast paced and busy car wash in Fredericksburg Texas. This is our third car wash purchased in less than 5 years and we are looking at expanding and growing this company!
SUMMARY:
The Car Wash Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the team. The Car Wash Manager is responsible for store inventory, maintenance, managing & recruiting staff, and other operational duties. This position reports to the Regional Manager.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on car wash, drier, vacuums, water softeners, filters & screens, and other related equipment. Responsible for generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports and present to team and upper management as needed. Provides on going supervision to employees through verbal feedback and performance reviews. Interpret and report findings from reports; make recommendations to processes and procedures at car wash to ensure improved sales and overall performance. Ensure that the staff is cleaning daily: Bay windows, floor, walls, grounds, vacuum islands; empty vacuums and clean filters as dictated by use. Responsible for completing end of day cash reconciliation and making sure funds balance. Serves as the first point of customer escalation for service-related issues, and works to reconcile customer complaints. Responsible for monitoring and recommendations regarding all personnel wage increases and setting salaries of newly hired employees. Responsible for maintaining weekly staffing schedules. Schedule and lead team meetings as necessary. Oversee car wash equipment repair and maintenance. Train staff on proper use safety equipment as well as train on safety procedures. Order replacement parts and supplies. Handle incidents and consult with Regional Manager on approved claims. Solicit car wash fleet accounts. Interact with Maintenance department to ensure all site lighting is maintained (this may include actually doing repairs). Responsible for creating a safe environment for customers and employees and ensuring all company policies and procedures are followed. Change heat and air conditioning filters at store as needed. Ensure cold weather door procedures and processes are adhered to; train staff as needed to ensure compliance. Act professionally at all times in order to present the company in the most positive manner possible. Other duties as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 2 years experience in management, preferably at a car wash. Work experience in area of repair and preventive maintenance and troubleshooting; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Should be good with tools. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Valid Driver's License. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and short correspondence (emails/ memos). Ability to speak, read, and write English proficiently. Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems (scheduling, payroll, etc.) and email (Outlook). Ability to lift and move 30 lb. regularly and 50 lb. occasionally. Ability to work in extreme cold or hot weather and stand for long periods of time. Ability to provide proof to work in the Unites States if hired.Job Type:
