Main responsibilities:
Job Summary The Overnight Supervisor is responsible for leading and overseeing overnight store operations, ensuring shelves are stocked, inventory is accurately managed, and the store is prepared for opening. This role supervises overnight associates, maintains operational standards, and promotes a safe, productive work environment while achieving company performance goals. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Supervise all overnight operations and activities. Ensure merchandise is stocked efficiently and accurately according to company standards. Monitor workflow and allocate labor to meet stocking and operational deadlines. Ensure the store is organized, clean, and ready for business each morning. Address operational issues and communicate concerns to management. Team Leadership Train, coach, and supervise overnight associates. Develop work schedules and assign tasks based on business needs. Monitor employee performance and provide constructive feedback. Promote teamwork, accountability, and a culture of safety. Assist with onboarding and development of new team members. Inventory & Merchandising Oversee unloading, receiving, and stocking of merchandise. Verify inventory counts and ensure stock accuracy. Execute planograms, resets, and merchandising initiatives. Identify and correct inventory discrepancies. Ensure proper product rotation and organization. Safety & Compliance Maintain compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Conduct safety inspections and address potential hazards. Ensure proper use of equipment, including pallet jacks and stocking tools. Report incidents, accidents, and operational concerns promptly. Customer & Store Support Support customer needs during overnight operating hours, where applicable. Coordinate with day shift leadership to ensure smooth operational transitions.
