Manage inventory levels through effective stock control, purchasing, and merchandising strategies to maximize sales and minimize waste. Oversee sales management efforts by setting targets, motivating staff, and implementing promotional initiatives. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management with accuracy and integrity. Conduct employee training & development sessions to enhance team skills in customer service, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring a welcoming shopping experience. Skills Proven management experience within the retail industry with a focus on sales team leadership. Strong negotiation skills coupled with effective managerial communication abilities. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases. Expertise in inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, and cash handling procedures. Experience in supervising retail operations including shift management, merchandising, stock control, and pricing strategies. Skilled in recruiting, interviewing, training & development to build high-performing teams. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in bookkeeping and payroll tasks.
