WE'RE LOOKING FOR A MANAGER TO LEAD OUR FLOWER SHOP
We're a small, local floral and gift shop looking for a dependable, energetic, creative, and organized person to join our team as a Flower Shop Manager . This is a hands-on management position for someone who enjoys working with people, staying busy, being creative, and taking pride in keeping a small business running smoothly. No two days in our shop are exactly the same. You may be helping a customer one minute, answering the phone the next, creating a floral arrangement, preparing a homecoming mum, organizing inventory, putting together a holiday display, or jumping in wherever you're needed. We're looking for someone who can take initiative, work independently, lead by example, and keep things moving while providing a warm and welcoming experience for our customers. What You'll Do Help oversee the day-to-day operation of the shop Lead and supervise staff during scheduled shifts Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service Answer phones, assist customers, and help with orders Help create floral arrangements, gifts, displays, and seasonal products Maintain inventory, including stocking, organizing, and monitoring supplies Help ensure flowers and products are fresh, attractive, and properly displayed Operate the POS system and handle cash and customer transactions accurately Help with scheduling and coordinating daily tasks Train and assist team members with customer service and shop procedures Help with hiring, onboarding, and training as needed Keep the shop clean, organized, and visually appealing Help with pricing, merchandising, promotions, and seasonal displays Monitor daily sales and communicate inventory or operational needs Handle day-to-day customer or employee issues professionally Jump in wherever needed — this is a hands-on manager position We're Looking for

Dependable and punctual — someone we can truly count on A natural leader who is comfortable taking responsibility A go-getter who sees what needs to be done and gets it done Organized and detail-oriented , with the ability to multitask Friendly and personable with excellent customer service skills Creative and enjoys flowers, decorating, gifts, crafts, and displays Comfortable working independently and making everyday decisions A quick learner who is willing to learn our products and procedures Good with people and able to communicate clearly with customers and staff Comfortable with basic math , cash handling, pricing, and a POS system Flexible and hands-on , especially during busy seasons and holidays Someone who takes pride in the appearance and success of the shop Experience Previous retail, supervisory, management, customer service, or floral experience is preferred , but we are willing to train the right person. Floral experience is a plus, but a great attitude, dependability, leadership skills, creativity, and willingness to learn are extremely important to us. Experience with POS systems, inventory, scheduling, merchandising, bookkeeping, or payroll is also helpful.

9:00 AM-1:00

Closed This is a part-time position paying $15.00 per hour . Hours will be based on the needs of the shop and may vary during holidays, special events, and our busier seasons. We're a small business, so we're looking for someone who is willing to wear a few different hats . We need a manager who can lead the team but isn't afraid to get their hands dirty, help with flowers, assist customers, clean up, restock, or do whatever needs to be done.
