Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team at JDG Jewelers in Mission, TX. This is a newly created, high-impact role designed for a leader who thrives on the sales floor, enjoys coaching others, and is motivated by driving measurable results. In this pivotal position, you will take ownership of the sales team's performance, develop and execute strategic sales initiatives, and ensure alignment between sales goals and production capacity. You will play a key role in shaping team structure, refining processes, and fostering a high-performance, customer-focused culture. This opportunity is ideal for someone with strong retail or luxury sales experience who is ready to step into a leadership role where their impact is directly tied to business growth and earning potential. Responsibilities Lead, coach, and motivate a team of 4 sales professionals to consistently meet and exceed revenue goals Drive daily sales activity on the floor by leading through example and actively closing sales Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with monthly and annual revenue targets (~$3M annually) Monitor individual and team performance metrics, providing ongoing coaching and accountability Help structure, implement, and refine sales processes and team workflows Collaborate with ownership and production team to ensure sales volume supports operational capacity Foster a positive, high-energy, and customer-focused sales culture Build strong relationships with clients to drive repeat business, referrals, and long-term loyalty Identify opportunities to increase revenue through financing programs, upselling, and client engagement strategies Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new sales team members Maintain awareness of local market trends and customer preferences to drive business development Ensure an exceptional in-store experience that aligns with the company's reputation for friendly, personalized service
Compensation Base Salary:
$40,000 annually
On-Target Earnings:
$60,000•$80,000+ (uncapped potential based on performance)
Commission Structure Includes:
Percentage-based commission tied to profitability Additional 1%+ bonus when store goals are achieved (with potential to double for exceeding targets) Monthly bonus opportunities tied to financing usage and sales performance Strong earning potential driven by an already high-performing team consistently meeting goals Qualifications Proven success in retail sales, luxury sales, or high-touch customer environments Previous leadership or management experience preferred (Sales Lead, Assistant Manager, or Manager level) Strong ability to coach, develop, and hold a team accountable to performance goals Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Highly goal-oriented with a hands-on leadership approach Ability to analyze sales performance and adjust strategies accordingly Experience with CRM systems or sales tracking tools is a plus Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred due to local market Jewelry experience is a plus, but not required —sales ability is the priority Schedule Monday•
Saturday:
