GENERAL

MANAGER - AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR SHOP

Platinum Express Auto Repair is looking for a dependable, motivated, hands-on General Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our automotive repair shop. This is not strictly an office management position. We are looking for someone who can lead from the front , assist with light mechanical work when needed, manage the front office, supervise technicians, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include:

Manage the entire daily shop operation from A to Z Supervise and direct two automotive technicians Perform or assist with light mechanical work, including: Oil changes Brake service Alignments Suspension work Basic maintenance and repairs Greet customers and build strong, long-term customer relationships Write estimates and invoices Explain repairs and recommendations to customers Cash out customers and handle payments Schedule and organize incoming work Assign jobs to technicians and monitor productivity Make sure vehicles are completed correctly and on time Maintain a clean, organized, professional shop Help grow sales and keep customers coming back Take ownership of the overall performance of the location Who We're Looking For We want someone who is reliable, hardworking, motivated, organized, and not afraid to work. You should be comfortable working both behind the counter and in the shop. You must have good communication skills, basic automotive knowledge, leadership ability, and the drive to operate the business as if it were your own. Management + Profit Sharing This position comes with an opportunity for monthly profit sharing based on the manager's performance and the overall performance of the shop.
