Store ManagerDandelion CafeDandelion Cafe is seeking an experienced, hands-on Store Manager to lead one of our cafe locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned restaurant manager who wants to continue growing professionally while enjoying a healthier work-life balance.

We are not looking to fill this position as quickly as possible we are looking for the right person. Our ideal manager is an empathetic, dependable leader who genuinely cares about their team, creates a positive workplace culture, and believes that great hospitality begins with supported and well-trained employees.

This is not an office-only management position. Our Store Manager works alongside the team during daily operations. You must be willing to jump on the line, assist at the counter, run food, clean, solve problems, and do whatever is necessary to help the team succeed. You cannot be afraid to roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty.

What We re Looking ForAt least two years of salaried management experience as a Store Manager or General ManagerProven experience hiring, onboarding, training, scheduling, coaching, and developing employeesA hands-on leadership style and willingness to work alongside the teamStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsThe ability to lead with empathy, accountability, patience, and professionalismExperience managing restaurant operations, labor, inventory, food safety, cash handling, and guest serviceThe ability to remain calm, positive, and solution-focused during busy shiftsA genuine desire to contribute to and protect a healthy workplace cultureCounter-service, breakfast, coffee shop, or fast-casual management experience is a plusResponsibilitiesLead daily cafe operations while maintaining Dandelion Cafe s standards for food, coffee, cleanliness, and hospitalityRecruit, interview, hire, onboard, train, and retain strong team membersCreate effective schedules based on business needs, employee availability, and labor goalsCoach employees consistently and provide clear, respectful feedbackBuild a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environmentWork directly alongside employees during busy shifts and provide support wherever neededEnsure guests receive friendly, efficient, and memorable serviceMonitor food quality, cleanliness, organization, safety, and opening and closing proceduresManage inventory, ordering, waste, cash controls, deposits, and other administrative responsibilitiesAddress employee and guest concerns with empathy, urgency, and professionalismDevelop future leaders and create opportunities for team members to growRepresent Dandelion Cafe s mission of Creating community through Good Food, Great Coffee, and Awesome Hospitality! Schedule and Work-Life BalanceThis is a salaried, approximately 50-hour-per-week position with two days off each week. Our cafes operate early, which means our managers start early but they also leave early. Store Managers are expected to be out of the restaurant by approximately 4:30 p.m., allowing for evenings away from work.

Some schedule flexibility may be required based on staffing, business needs, special events, or emergencies.
