The Host is often the first and last impression a guest has of Casa. We are looking for someone who understands that hosting is much more than simply seating tables. The right candidate will help create a welcoming, organized, and professional atmosphere from the moment guests walk through the door.

THE ROLEAs a Host, you will be responsible for creating a warm and professional first impression while helping maintain the flow and organization of the dining room.
Responsibilities include:
Warmly greeting every guest upon arrival.
Managing the entrance and maintaining an organized, welcoming host stand.
Assisting with reservations, seating, and table assignments.
Maintaining accurate awareness of table availability and dining-room flow.
Escorting guests to their tables professionally and efficiently.
Communicating effectively with Captains, Lieutenants, management, and the kitchen.
Monitoring the dining room and recognizing when guests may need assistance.
Answering guest questions professionally or directing questions to the appropriate team member.
Assisting with guest requests whenever appropriate.
Helping maintain a clean, polished, and organized front-of-house environment.
Supporting the service team during busy periods as needed.
Maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor throughout the entire shift.
Providing the same level of hospitality to every guest, regardless of the size of the party or occasion.
Warm, personable, and naturally welcoming.
Confident and comfortable speaking with guests.
Professional and well-presented.
Able to remain calm, organized, and composed during a busy service.
Highly attentive to detail.
A strong communicator and team player.
Comfortable working in a structured, high-standard restaurant environment.
Willing to learn an intricate menu and understand the overall guest experience.

Comfortable working alongside experienced fine-dining service professionals.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance.
At least 18 years old.
Has a minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Host.
Experience in a high-volume or fine-dining restaurant is strongly preferred, but is not required.
Our Host should understand how their position affects the entire dining room.
You will be expected to recognize the pace of the restaurant, communicate effectively with the service team, anticipate guest needs, and help ensure that the guest experience feels seamless from arrival through departure.
A successful Host at Casa should be someone who can make a guest feel genuinely welcomed while maintaining the organization, attention to detail, and professionalism expected in a fine-dining environment.
Our team participates in a shared tip-pool environment according to a set tip-pool scale. Compensation is structured around the understanding that excellent service is a team effort, and every member of the front-of-house team contributes to the success of the restaurant.
Candidates should be comfortable working in an environment where the team's overall performance and hospitality contribute to everyone's success.
