Job Description

Parts Department & Office Manager / Administrative Assistant Green & White Automotive - Spring, TX $45,000-$70,000 per year, based on experience | 40-50 hours per week We're Looking for an A-Player Green & White Automotive is looking for an experienced automotive parts professional who can also take ownership of office management and administrative responsibilities. This is not an entry-level position. Automotive parts experience is required. We are a busy 16-bay automotive repair shop that has been serving our community for 49 years . We have high standards for our work, our customer service, and our team. We're looking for someone who is sharp, organized, dependable, positive, and gets things done. If you're the type of person who sees a problem and immediately starts looking for a solution instead of waiting for someone else to handle it, you'll fit in well here. What You'll Be Responsible For You will take ownership of our parts department while also assisting with important office and administrative responsibilities.
Your duties will include:
Ordering automotive parts accurately and efficiently Sourcing quality parts at competitive prices Managing vendor relationships Tracking outstanding parts orders and backorders Verifying invoices, pricing, credits, and returns Processing parts warranties and warranty claims Helping control parts costs and gross profit Communicating closely with service advisors and technicians Keeping the parts department organized and running efficiently Handling administrative paperwork, filing, reports, and recordkeeping Assisting management with day-to-day office responsibilities Following up and making sure tasks don't fall through the cracks What We Expect Our shop is busy. Some days move fast, priorities change, and there can be pressure. We need someone who can stay calm, stay organized, communicate professionally, and continue getting things done when things get hectic. We're looking for someone who: Has automotive parts experience —
REQUIRED
Takes ownership instead of making excuses Has a strong sense of urgency Pays attention to details Can manage several priorities at the same time Communicates well with technicians, service advisors, vendors, and management Works well with different personalities Is dependable and punctual Takes pride in keeping things organized Has a positive, can-do attitude Is willing to help wherever needed Understands that the success of the entire team matters We don't have a "that's not my job" culture. We expect everyone on our team to help each other and do what needs to be done to take care of our customers and keep the shop running efficiently. Compensation & Benefits $45,000-$70,000 per year, based on automotive parts experience, qualifications, and ability. Candidates with strong automotive parts knowledge and a proven ability to manage a busy parts department will be considered at the higher end of the pay range.
