Job Description

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervise QA Sampling Department, Label Cage, and Retains Cage. Coordinate prompt sample delivery to QC lab for incoming material testing. Strategically address material issues with teams by investigating root causes. Hold materials that do not meet specifications and escalate issues to applicable departments. Promote a team environment and winning attitude. Train others in the organization on sampling related matters. Ensure department compliance with internal and regulatory requirements. Responsible to oversee release of raw materials, components and labels. Proper use and care of equipment and materials issued to work area. Enforce and champion continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain proper good documentation practices within the department. Assist in the management of aging inventory
REQUIREMENTS 1-3
Years leadership experience preferred. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills. Experience using MS Windows and Microsoft Office Applications Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write in English to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure. Must be able to demonstrate high levels of reasoning. Must be able to work without direct supervision.
