Overview Join our team as a Department Manager and lead your employees to exceptional results! Our Tool Repair Department Manager will be responsible for logging incoming tools, assigning tools to employees, contacting customers, running sales orders and updating tool repair logs. The manager will not be responsible for fixing the tools themselves but facilitating the fixing within the department. Responsibilities Supervise employees and ensure they are staying focused Lead and motivate a team of staff members through effective training, coaching, and performance management Oversee inventory control, ordering supplies, and managing quality of work to maximize profitability Ensure compliance with safety standards Run company software to perform required duties Conduct management duties including resolving customer concerns promptly, professionally responding to emails, attending internal meetings and being responsible for the outcome of your department Assist with interviewing, hiring, onboarding new team members, and supporting their ongoing development Skills Proven experience in management Ability to communicate effectively both with employees and customers Proficiency with computers including Outlook, Office, etc. Strong background in inventory control Ability to oversee operations while maintaining high quality standards Join us to lead with energy and enthusiasm!
