Position Overview As Assistant Studio Manager at SweatHouz Reston, you'll be instrumental in leading our team to create outstanding experiences for every guest and member
- experiences that fuel membership sales, long-term retention, and revenue performance.
You'll champion the SweatHouz brand while living our foundational values: integrity, respect, fairness, and excellence. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll work alongside the Studio Manager to build a thriving operation, especially critical as we prepare to open our second location in 2025.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving Sales & Growing Membership Partner with sales associates to hit studio revenue and membership targets through strategic planning and execution Deliver the SweatHouz relationship-driven sales experience: connect authentically with prospective members, understand their wellness goals, and show how our services transform their lives Guide potential members through studio tours, highlighting amenities and services that align with their personal objectives Present membership packages clearly and close sales using proven SweatHouz techniques Support and develop sales associates through hands-on coaching in sales tactics, product expertise, and objection resolution Manage lead pipeline using our Axle CRM system
- schedule consultations, follow up consistently, and convert prospects Work directly with the Studio Manager to ensure team sales performance consistently meets or exceeds benchmarks Leading & Developing the Team Open and close the studio independently, taking full ownership of operations during your shifts Directly supervise 1-2 sales associates and 1 cleaner per shift, ensuring accountability for sales metrics, service standards, and facility protocols Handle in-the-moment challenges•member concerns, scheduling issues, equipment problems, staffing gaps•making decisions without constant manager oversight Create a culture where team members feel engaged, supported, and motivated to excel Provide ongoing training and real-time coaching to elevate each team member's capabilities and confidence Model excellence in every interaction•work ethic, professionalism, communication, and member service Act as the first point of contact for sales associate questions and concerns during your shifts Keep Studio Manager informed with regular updates on shift performance, team dynamics, and operational issues Operational Management Ensure flawless execution of daily operations during all assigned shifts Uphold and enforce cleanliness, safety, and hygiene standards that create an inviting, premium environment Verify suites are impeccably cleaned between sessions and hold cleaning staff to our quality benchmarks Conduct regular walkthroughs to assess facility conditions•suites, common areas, locker rooms, amenities Manage inventory levels and restock supplies proactively Complete all daily checklists, cleaning logs, and operational documentation accurately Spot operational inefficiencies and member experience gaps•then implement practical solutions Report maintenance needs, safety concerns, or repair issues promptly and track resolution Stay attuned to studio operations and team dynamics•anticipate problems before they escalate

QUALIFICATIONS
Education & Certifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required College degree in related field preferred but not required CPR/AED/First Aid certification (we'll provide training if you don't have it yet) Relevant industry credentials or equivalent hands-on experience valued
Experience & Skills:
Minimum 2 years in customer-facing sales roles (retail, hospitality, fitness, or service industries) At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead capacity with demonstrated ability to manage others and make independent decisions Proven success with consultative, relationship-based selling approaches Track record of building value with customers and handling objections effectively Reliable performance history
- punctual, accountable, trustworthy Comfortable with technology: CRM platforms, scheduling tools, email systems Physical Requirements Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly Daily physical activity includes: standing for extended periods, walking, bending, squatting, reaching, and climbing Comfortable performing CPR and emergency response procedures if needed

Base Compensation:
$21/hour Bonus potential (team + individual) Monthly contrast therapy sessions
