up to $21 The Assistant Restaurant General Manager (ARGM) supports the General Manager in leading all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest service, strong team performance, and consistent execution of Dunkin' brand standards. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires working in line positions, coaching team members, and stepping into full GM responsibilities when needed. Learn Coaching Skills to Drive the Store's Culture and Daily Operations Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Support the GM in overseeing daily store operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant execution. Work alongside the team in all line positions (register, drive-thru, sandwich station, beverage station, prep, cleaning) to maintain speed of service and operational excellence. Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation procedures are followed at all times. Assist with monitoring product quality, equipment functionality, and store readiness. Team Development & Leadership Help recruit, hire, train, and develop team members and shift leaders. Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and recognition. Reinforce training standards and model proper procedures. Support the GM in building a positive, inclusive, high-performance culture. Guest Experience Model hospitality and service excellence at all times. Resolve guest concerns promptly and professionally. Ensure the restaurant is clean, welcoming, and fully stocked. Financial & Administrative Responsibilities Own inventory management, ordering, and waste control to meet or exceed cost targets. Manage labor by building efficient schedules and making real-time staffing adjustments during shifts to hit labor targets. Execute cash handling procedures, deposits, and financial documentation accurately. Review daily sales, labor, and cost reports and take direct action to drive performance improvements. Shift & Store Management Lead opening, mid-shift, or closing procedures with accuracy and consistency. Ensure shift communication is clear and that operational priorities are executed. Step into full GM responsibilities when the GM is off or unavailable. Essential Job Functions Ability to perform all crew-level and shift-leader tasks , including food prep, beverage production, order taking, cleaning, and stocking. Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs as needed. Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and accuracy. Qualifications 1+ year of restaurant or retail management experience preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize during busy periods. Experience with labor management, inventory, or cash handling is a plus. ServSafe certification (or willingness to obtain).
