Key Responsibilities For the Openers (The Early Birds) Your mission is to make sure the shop looks, smells, and feels ready for the day's first scoop. Set Up the
Shop:
Turn on equipment, prep the POS system, and set up the register. Prep the
Dipping Cabinet:
Ensure ice cream tubs are neatly organized, properly temped, and visually appealing.
Fresh Prep:
Prep toppings, waffle cone batter, and start making our fresh waffle cones so the sweet aroma greets customers at the door.
Storefront Readiness:
Sweep the entryway, wipe down tables, and ensure the lobby is immaculate before opening the doors. For the Closers (The Night Owls) Your mission is to put the shop to bed, ensuring the next day's crew starts with a clean slate.
Sanitize & Clean:
Wash and sanitize all scoops, bins, counters, and prep areas. Wipe down and cover the dipping cabinet.
Floor Care:
Sweep and mop the entire front-of-house and back-of-house floors. Close Out the
Till:
Count down cash drawers, reconcile the POS system, and prepare the nightly deposit.
Lockup:
Secure all doors, turn off designated equipment/lights, and set the alarm. Everyday Scooper Responsibilities (All Shifts) Provide exceptionally friendly, welcoming customer service. Scooping ice cream, building cones/cups, and making milkshakes, affogatos and dirty sodas. Restock cups, spoons, napkins, and retail items. Maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards.
