Key Responsibilities:
Support day-to-day store operations and step in as the acting lead when the Store Manager is away. Uphold Mercurys' service standards and ensure consistent, high-quality customer experiences. Provide ongoing coaching, in-the-moment feedback, and monthly performance check-ins using Mercurys tools. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new team members. Coordinate deliveries from Mercurys Headquarters to the local storage unit and manage transfers to the store. Monitor inventory and ensure drinks are made to standard and served promptly. Respond to and resolve customer feedback and complaints with professionalism and care. Support scheduling, cash handling, banking, and POS system management. Help drive store performance through sales initiatives, cost awareness, and operational efficiency. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that meets all food safety standards. What We're Looking For A dependable, energetic leader who motivates through positivity and example. Excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure. A love for coffee, customer service, and team collaboration. Requirements Over 18 years of age. Authorization to work in the United States. High school diploma or equivalent required. Minimum 6 months as a Lead Barista, or prior experience in a supervisory or management role in food/retail. Strong leadership skills and team-building mindset. Reliable transportation and flexible schedule (including early mornings, weekends, and holidays). Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and operate all Mercurys equipment. Valid food handler permit (or ability to obtain one). Why Join Mercurys?
