About the
Role:
Reporting to the Store Manager, this position is responsible for assisting in the management of the hardgoods sales staff and department inventory control to achieve the maximum profitability and continue to provide best-in-class guest service.
Essential Functions:
Generate sales and maintain the high standard for guest service
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of products and industry trends
Maintain merchandising of hardgoods product lines and store cleanliness standards
Maintain a strong boot-to-custom insole (and/or liners) sales ratio by demonstrating to the customer the enhancement of a proper fitting
Assist store manager in monitoring and controlling the payroll budget
Assist store manager in hiring, training, coaching, leading and maintaining a high-quality staff
Assist store manager in administering company policies and procedures, including cash handling, safety and loss prevention
Prepare, distribute and maintain company-required documentation
Must have the ability to multi-task
Demonstrate the desire to succeed and grow within the company
Open and close store as required in absence of manager or assistant manager
Other duties as may be assigned
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong ski and/or ride background
Two or more years of boot fitting experience
Prior supervisory experience
Minimum of two years' experience in the snowsport industry
High school diploma or equivalent
Experienced with POS systems preferred
English fluency, written and verbal
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds on a recurring basis

The range is $20
