Responsibilities Lead and supervise the produce department team, providing training, coaching, and performance feedback to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency Manage inventory levels through accurate ordering, stock rotation, and stock replenishment to minimize waste and maximize freshness Implement merchandising strategies to showcase produce attractively and promote sales through effective signage and product placeme Conduct regular quality checks on produce items, ensuring compliance with safety standards and freshness criteria Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory control, bookkeeping, and payroll related to the department Ensure compliance with health regulations, safety procedures, and sanitation standards at all times Qualifications Proven management experience within retail grocery Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Excellent communication skills in English Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, retail math, pricing strategies, and sales management Knowledge of merchandising techniques, stock rotation practices, and marketing initiatives within retail settings Leadership qualities including team management, training & development capabilities, negotiation skills, and the ability to motivate staff Familiarity with health & safety regulations related to food handling and sanitation standards in grocery stores Ability to work flexible shifts including , weekends, and holidays as needed Join us as a Produce Manager where your expertise will help deliver fresh quality products while leading a motivated team.
