Lead and motivate the retail sales team to achieve sales targets through effective management and coaching. Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and merchandising to ensure product availability and presentation standards. Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience. Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing potential candidates and onboarding new employees. Oversee cash handling, POS (Point of Sale) systems operation, and cashiering duties with accuracy and integrity. Maintain organizational standards by supervising inventory management, pricing strategies, and store cleanliness. Skills Proven experience in retail store management or assistant manager roles within the retail industry. Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively and foster a positive work environment. Excellent communication skills, including managerial communication, phone etiquette, and organizational abilities. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and basic math skills. Demonstrated ability in negotiation, customer service excellence, and sales management techniques. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases.
