Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated CYI Teen Center Supervisor to lead and inspire youth in grades 6-12. In this paid role, you will oversee daily operations of the teen center, implement engaging activities, and foster a safe, inclusive environment for teenagers. Your leadership will empower young people to build skills, confidence, and community connections through innovative programming and supportive mentorship. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on youth development while honing your leadership, program management, and community engagement skills. Hours This is a flexible part-time position with hours that vary by season (in-school vs. summer) and Teen Center programming. "Typical" shifts include: Sundays 11 AM-6 PM Mondays-Fridays 11 AM(summer) / 2 PM(school year)-6 PM Saturdays as needed for facility rentals. Responsibilities Supervise daily operations of the teen center, ensuring a welcoming and safe environment for all participants Kitchen duties include cleaning and food safety Operating the 4-lane bowling alley Attend local resource fairs to promote programs and build partnerships within the community Utilize social media platforms and marketing strategies to increase awareness of center activities and outreach efforts Collaborate with local organizations on fundraising initiatives and community events to support program sustainability Skills Proven experience in supervising teams or managing volunteers in youth or community settings Knowledge of social media management and marketing techniques Knowledge of Microsoft Office Demonstrated leadership skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and team building This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to foster positive change in youth lives through energetic leadership and innovative programming.
