Competitive pay based on experience About the Position We are looking for a reliable, responsible, and motivated Gas Station Manager to oversee the daily operations of our gas station and convenience store. The ideal candidate will have strong customer-service and leadership skills, be comfortable managing employees, and take pride in keeping the store clean, organized, and running smoothly. Responsibilities Oversee daily gas station and convenience-store operations Open and close the store as needed Hire, train, schedule, and supervise employees Ensure employees follow company policies and complete assigned duties Manage employee attendance, punctuality, and performance Provide excellent customer service and handle customer concerns professionally Operate and supervise cash registers and cash-handling procedures Monitor cash, lottery, tobacco, and other high-value inventory Order and restock merchandise, beverages, snacks, ice, and other products Monitor inventory levels and minimize waste, shortages, and theft Maintain clean and organized sales floor, bathrooms, coolers, and outside areas Ensure gas pumps, parking areas, trash cans, windshield-washer stations, and other customer areas are maintained Monitor and report equipment, cooler, pump, POS, and facility problems Ensure all required safety, health, age-verification, and store procedures are followed Maintain accurate paperwork, logs, and daily records Help manage the bait/minnow area and maintain proper conditions when applicable Communicate with vendors, service technicians, and company representatives Address operational issues quickly and communicate major problems to ownership Help control labor costs and ensure appropriate employee coverage Lead by example and maintain a professional work environment Qualifications Previous gas station, convenience store, retail, or management experience preferred Strong leadership and communication skills Dependable and punctual Able to work independently and make responsible decisions Comfortable working with cash and handling financial transactions Basic computer and POS-system skills Able to train and supervise employees Strong attention to cleanliness and organization Must be willing to work flexible hours, including some weekends and holidays when needed Must be able to pass any legally required background or employment screening What We Offer Competitive pay Full-time, long-term employment
