Our retail store is looking for a dedicated salesperson to write contract business alongside the store manager, selling pools, spas, patio furniture, grills, saunas and fitness equipment to customers who walk in ready to buy. Compensation is a $55,000 base salary plus commission that rises with the size of the sale. Responsibilities Write contract business across the full showroom, including above ground pools, in ground pools, spas, patio furniture, grills, saunas and fitness equipment. Own the customer from the first conversation through to a signed contract and a completed delivery or install. Learn the product lines well enough to tell a customer which pool, spa, grill or sauna actually fits their yard, their budget and their family. Keep the pool park and showroom displays clean, stocked and sellable, and assist with store merchandising. Cover the sales floor when the store manager is out. Maintain accurate quotes and contract paperwork through to delivery and install scheduling. Skills Retail or in home sales experience, ideally on considered purchases rather than quick transactions. Willingness to learn several product categories rather than specialising in one. Clear communication in person and on the phone with customers making a significant purchase. Reliable on a retail schedule, including weekends. Comfortable with basic math for quoting, pricing and contract totals. Industry experience is a plus rather than a requirement.
